Responsible for successful completion of over 60 apartment building projects since the city of Los Angles adoption of mandatory retrofit ordinance 183893, intended to reduce earthquake – induced damage and to improve seismic safety for:
- Existing wood-frame buildings with soft, weak or open front walls (Construction permits prior to Jan. 1, 1978)
- Existing Non-ductile concrete buildings. (Construction permits prior to Jan. 3, 1977)
Hillside Foundation Repair & Reconstruction
Remedial repairs and underpinning design to address settlement issues and movements of existing foundation systems for hillside residential buildings.
Concrete, Masonry and Wood Restoration
- Application of various techniques for restoring deteriorated concrete, masonry and wood to enhance strength and serviceability without incurring the higher replacement costs.
- Structural strengthening & Repair using FRP.
